My waters broke at 8 am.
8 am!
Contractions started around 6 pm, I got hooked up to drugs when dilated to 3/4 cm around 10 pm. Finally! Women who go all the way without drugs on purpose are certifiable. Or heros. Coz WOW!
The birth itself was bizarre. I felt everything WITHOUT the pain. Just the pressure. Which was awesome. Had no idea that was possible.
I also didn't know that birth without stitches resulting was possible. My lady business was thrilled that immediately after the birth sitting comfortably was possible. No episio! No tearing! No Frankensteined bits!
All in all a positive experience. And the maternity facilities and personnel at Lagny hospital were fab! So besides those couple of hours of pain, it was all good.
Megan: no joke! Dealing with the Grands around Petite feedings is already promising to be sporty. Sigh. I'll get used to the juggling, I'm sure...
